@Erorogi-san One of the cope theories I read on one of the JP reviews also pointed out the fact that the MC carrying Nanba out of the house makes no sense (Nanba is clearly more drunk, but it's his house - so why is the MC carrying him as he leaves?). The only explanation is that there's a timeline where Nanba ended up with the wife and MC ended up with Reika but that's not remotely indicated anywhere else in the story so it's just another weird decision in a volume full of them.

If the "time travel" turned out to be just him realising that he could never replace the blonde guy in her heart no matter how good they feel together - the plot would be fine. BUT THAT FUCKASS MUG HAD TO RUIN IT

The whole damn thing doesn't make sense. Could have cut it at the first part, hell even up to part 3 is fine if you found sudden success and wanted to bank on it. But part 4 into some weird time travel shit that then might or might not actually matter? Like, he DID travel back in time but either got his ass beat so hard he forgot why he traveled back or pussied out when she said "i love you" but still wants to fuck her enough to daydream about it? Unless that was another weird time bullshit thing because in all the works, the final credit page DOES happen (like Reina responding to the ex in vol 3 or the shot of the wife's butt in part 2 where she's turned on) and it seems to be the MC helping the ex walk out of the apartment while Reina wakes up the wife. But why would the MC lead the ex out of the apartment? It's supposed to be Reina and the exs? This shit wouldn't even make sense if I was high off my fucking mind

I’ve read every chapter of the manga, and while many may not agree with the ending, the protagonist was already married to the long-haired woman named Mai. For me, the turning point was when the protagonist and Reika were walking down a dark alley and the protagonist was attacked and couldn’t stop Reika from being raped. This was only prevented because Nanba stepped in and managed to take down the rapists. If he hadn’t shown up, Reika would have been raped and the outcome would have been tragic. The gyaru has the right to choose who she wants to be with and marry.
